By now you have been in 8th grade for almost 2 months, incredible!  Amongst other assignments, each student has had opportunities to act as a historical character, to read and connect to a historical novel, to be a part of a team, to learn about Edgar Allen Poe, and to debate opposing sides of issues, etc. etc.  What are the most interesting or "fun" activities you have done thus far in English and history?  Why?  Anything you're looking forward to?
