Here are some things you'll need; the PowerPoint will go up later.
Know every single character by name, involvement (what do they do in the story?), purpose (why is Wiesel talking about them), and relationship to Eliezer (how does Juliek affect him vs. Franek?).
Know how events unfold. Where does Eliezer go over the course of the story? Why does he move? What happens in each place? What is each place like?
A neat trick to see if you really understand a story is if you can tell it backwards - if you know the plot so well that you can reconstruct it in reverse. Can you take Eliezer from his last moment, standing in front of a mirror, to his first moments with Moche back in Sighet? How detailed is your re-telling?
Know some symbols, including (but not limited to):
Fire and Smoke
Know terms from your worksheet, as well as how they fit the story.
