My principle is to treat others the way you want to be treated. I feel that it is important to treat others with respect if you want respect because if you treat others like there were nothing then they will treat you like you are nothing. The way you treat others is a reflection of yourself.
This is a very good principle and many of us can agree with it. I especially like how you referred to the reflection of oneself in the way one treats others, very profound thinking.

My main principle is to play hard and work hard. I feel that there is a need to differentiate between the time to play (video games, TV, go out, etc.) and the time to work. This way, I can be more efficient in doing work, since there are no distractions, and thus have more time to relax.
Another principle that many of us agree on is to live life to the fullest. A true life is only given once, and we can't take it for granted.

I agree as this way you can focus on the task at hand and concentrate on producing the best results.
The main principle that I live by is doing what makes me happy as well as doing what is important to me. I believe that if you do anything that doesn't make you happy or that isn’t important to you, than you won’t try 100% on it. If you aren’t trying your hardest on that task or job then it is just a waste of your time. You shouldn’t waste the precious time in your life because you only have so much of it. What’s the point of living if you aren’t going to be happy? The saying No pain, no gain reflects this principle because it means if you don’t work hard than you won’t gain anything in return. As I stated before, you will only work your hardest on or for something if it is going to make you happy. Therefore, in order to gain anything out of life, one needs to be happy in order to work hard!
My main principle is that to treat people the way you want to be treated...this creates an environment in which people respect each other it allows people the freedom to do what each individual person pleases. Therefore you have a free area to speak your own ideas with no judging, cause thats mean. Equality for the win!
My main principle is to always be nice to others, because even if we may think that it's unnecessary, you'll never know how a single smile can go a long way, especially if it's directed that someone who is having a bad day.
My main principle is if you are doing what makes you happy and enjoy life as long as it is not bothering anyone else or harming anything then it is okay and you shouldn't worry about hurting anyone. if you are happy and leave people alone they will be happy to.
My main principle is to never give up, because you can not give up on something that you did not try your best in. Patience and hard work will pave your way to success, therefore giving up half way will not get you anywhere in life.
My main principle is to always be yourself and totally not care what others think. It's still necessary to have respect for those who have power over you, but your friends shouldn't shape who you are. You can only be you, so it's pointless to try to keep up a false façade
My main principle is to put someone else in front of you, not all the time, but when you know it's the right thing to do. Maybe in doing that I'll end up hurting myself, but I'd rather hurt myself a little to see someone else happy.
One of my main principles is to become someone that benefits the society in some way. As president Reagan once said, "Do not ask what our country has done for you, but what you have done for our country."
