Students may work in groups of 2 or 3 and must complete the research notes by Tuesday, Nov. 11th. Students may break up the research so that they share the responsibility. Final mobiles must be completed by each child and are due on Friday, Nov. 14th. Parents, please sign your child's project instruction sheet. Thank you.
It's a brand new month and we are ready to begin our study on California Native Americans, also called Indian, also called "first people," also called indigineous people.
We will begin reading and taking notes on chapter 2 in the social studies textbook on Monday, Nov. 3 ... and talking about the different cultures of the different tribes in California. There's so much to learn about this important part of our history.
Together we will talk about the CA Indian Project and what is required. You will need to choose one tribe that we discuss in class and do a mobile on that tribe filled with fast facts and information to tell us about the culture and way of life of this tribe.
