A digging we go! We pulled out several of our radishes today.
Yum or Yuck? What do you think of the taste of the 3 different radishes and of the snap peas?
We learned today that pioneers often grew radishes, but ate the leafy part too. Would you eat all the parts of the radishes?

:-)I saw a lot of green, tall vegetables have sprouted in the garden during this spring season. They are beautiful.
Bryant told me that he had a chance to taste some of
the plants today. He stated that he did not acquire the taste of them. However, I told him that they are good for him. I also saw Melaine has a plant on her hand as she came out from the class. She told me that she is going to
eat that later on. I am glad that the students seem enjoying the art of gardening. I believe gardening could
enhance their appreciation of hard labor of farmers
and value the healthy diet.

I think this is also a great learning experience for my students. They are having a lot of fun, especially watching what they planted grow.
Dear Mrs. Lee
I had fun doing everything from putting iin the first seeds to eati;ng the things that we grew. (I just hated pulling out the weeds, it was a pain!) We should contine harvesting.
I like to do grardening. We had radishes , asia radishes, and snow peas, and more. I like to eat the snow peas cooked INSTEAD of raw snow peas. YUCK!
Yes, I agree with Nina. Raw snow are icy cold and not very nice even though it fared way better than those radishes.
the vegetabes were disgusting! Only the peas were good. I love gardening.
YUCK! why did we eat thos they are kind of wait scrtch that they are very digusting. Except for the peas.
boo hoo we couldn't garden today on the 28th of March but i am glad we do garden..............................................bye....................................
Those things did taste bad but glad that my mom likes it
gardening is a great way to know to know how it was to farm on ranchos and farms back in the 1800's.
the fun part of gardening is excperiencing the hard work and labor rancho owners, pioneers and farmers were used to
I had fun harvesting. We picked radishes, asian radishes, and snow peas. The radishes tasted spicy, the asian radishes tasted sour and sweet, the snow peas tasted a little sweet. I liked harvesting in our garden.

i had good time too. i really like to plant vegetables and fruits. Last week we pulled out some radishes and snow peas. the radishes is so spicy for me and i hate spicy cause i have to drink alot of water. The peas taste so good. the peas are a litte sweet. i like the peas the best. :]
I liked picking the vegetables. We picked some radishes and snow peas. We ate them too. One radish tasted somewhat sweet and another tasted really spicy. One more radish tasted bitter but the snow peas were the best. I like picking etter than eating.

I liked them all except for the small radishes or whatever they were...they were SPICY!!!!!!!!! My favorite were the snap peas.
I also like that were planting chiles for Humberto.(The Head Janitor) Or was that last year?
Good idea with the chiles. Did you plant them last year in 3rd? How did they taste? Hot? Maybe the pioneers like a little spice with their radish greens?
We didn't get to taste them because they grew in the summer... but Humberto didn't tell us if he he liked it or not.
Yes, Mrs. Lee, if you give me a raw potato( or part of it ) I would say NO THANK YOU. I liked them cooked WAY better. First, ar ewe even going to hrvest them?....
I think the peas vere very GOOD (as usual)! Those radishes (not to offend them) were not goog. In fact, they vere so spicy it felt like as if those little radishes vere nipping my tongue! I like picking those because it felt a little bit like a pioneer(not really). I wish we could have picked more. I thought there were more than just 32 plants to eat! I think radishes are ok if they're mixed with other things, not plain and a little bit frozen. Haaaaaaa.........(sigh),it's nice to garden.
too me i didn't like any one of them (i never even liked one vegetable in my entire life!)
i really really like our garden. there is so many food like radishes, carrots, strawberries, snow peas and more. i wish we can have a garden filled with plants then it will be fun. i also like to pick the plants. its like pulling some carrots. i really like our garden!
How interesting that our radish has grown to be so large. I probably would not eat every bit of those radishes. SOme say that they are very sour. I like what we have at our garden. i wonder how it would look like with the potatoes....
I like the experience of eating the vegetables I didn't like eating the radish. I would really like to eat the potatoes when they come out.
I to can't wait to try the potatoes, though I think I like them cooked and not raw!
i never tryed that before and i would like to try it
Do does it mean that we are gonna eat french fries.... if we do Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
we aren't going to eat french fries... we don't have anything to fry them.
Well we might because i can take them home and fry them and bring em back.
are are really honest about bring the fries back? because I think you're goi'na eat some at your house and anyways they're goi'na be all soggey and stuff
you actually like all that work we're doing cause I don't
sorry to say this but i don't think we're going to taste the tasty strawberries
I wonder who are going to get to eat the strawberry plant, since there is only one plant......( I hope I get to eat some...)
I love strawberries... my grandma's kitchen is all strawberries.
you are so luckeeeeee i would love to take a bite in one of those whaaaaaaa ;-0 ;-(
no nobody can eat it because it is gone somebody pulled it down and always loved gardening so much i hope ms lee loves to garden
some! what do you mean some that plant is like the size of a, well something small, like an ant ... or a a leaf
Now that we tasted the radishes I wonder what we'll do next Wednesday.
indeed there is a lot of weeds, and it is some times it is boddersum when you pull up a lot of weed with no roots.
I fell kind of sad for you that I wanna cry, just kidding!!!
yesterday is so fun. we pulled out so many weeds at the garden, and i saw so many bugs. i wish i can have more time to pull the weeds.
I don't really agree with the weedin and stuff but it was kind of fun.
gee, gee we've worked so hard with this harvesting and all the vegatables aren't done yet
when I tasted my vegetable I brought home it was so BLAH! BLAH! BLAH!, DISCUSTING!
