Please help each other figure out useful tools and tips for mapping with Google.  Whether you find Google Earth or Google maps more useful (just be sure to specify as they seem to operate a little differently) please share your strategies and/or questions with each other.  What have you accomplished so far?  What would you like to do?  What stumbling blocks have you encountered?  Please help each other with this blog.

After watching the google video and the World in the Balance video we saw today I'd like you to comment on what you think about future population predictions. Accurate or no?  of concern or not?

Also please answer the journal question from today right here: Does natural selection affect human populations?  Explain.

Please share your feelings about the role of integrity, responsibility, and trust in a classroom.  Do you have classes that are "high security"?  Does it work?  Do you have classes where cheating is rampant?  How does that feel?  Does it make a difference?  Do you think cheating is common at AHS?  Why or why not?

One of the things I teach in permaculture is to find local resources to meet our needs.  I'm always amazed at how many people can be resources for each other even in a small group.  What are the needs and resources for our APES community this year?

Needs - on-campus garden, a great T.A., source for edible plant donations, new Palm pilot

Resources - food forestry, food and diet information (raw food preparation and food nutritional information), permaculture, connecting people with mentors
